DIY: Skin Tan Removal Using Natural Products! | PART 1

Hello folks!

There is so much hullabaloo regarding home made remedies for skin but have you tried even one of them? Be it papaya, cucumber, honey, sugar etc etc. We don’t even know half the list.

Well, as summer is just about to reach its peak, I had to do something for my skin so that it could breathe freely 🙂

So, here is a list of some things you can easily [Read: very easily] do yourself to get rid of skin tan and keep your skin hydrated during this burning season!

>Potato is your new best friend

Yes, your read it correct!

Potato juice is one of the most effective things for tan removal. Initially, I was told by a friend to put slices of potato on face/arms etc but I found that a little difficult and ineffective as the slices could not stick to skin and secrete juice so I grated potato and put it as a mask over the face for 15-20 minutes and washed with cold water. That worked! 🙂

Do this exercise daily and see the wonders!

>Skin asks for lemonade

Lemon juice is another one of the best options for tan removal. As my skin is hyper sensitive, potato works better for me. Lemon juice is acidic in nature and can be a little unfriendly for skin [if applied in very high quantity]. Though you can use it for other areas like joints, feet etc etc.

>Aloe Vera – Good to grow and good for glow

Just own one Aloe Vera pot and you have the natural skin Jinni [who will say: Jo hukum Aaka!] with you. It requires very less amount of water to grow and grows at a very fast pace [You can have enough for your entire body – at least once a week].

It’ll lighten your skin tone if applied over affected area regularly. But, don’t go out in the sun with Aloe Vera on your face. It’ll acts inversely and can darken your skin. So, wash your face first and apply some sunblock!

>Drink lots-lots of water

This is one of the most common things we all hear all the time but nobody even gives it a try with full dedication ( Honestly, I was one of those kinds).

What I do now is: I keep a measure of the quantity of water I drink every day. Just give yourself a target that you have to have at least 2.5-3 liters of water intake.

I keep one bottle (1 liter) at my desk as soon as I reach office and give myself a target that I’d finish this in two hours! Yes, it’s just 4 glasses of water 😀

Have some fruits like water melon etc. [I carry one box everyday when I get bored of drinking water :P]

This will keep your body fit as well. So, swear by this routine. 🙂

Just mark these exercises in the busy calender of yourselves and see the magic!

That’s it for this post. I’ll gather some more magic skin care secrets from my grandmother and share with you guys soon.

Happy weekend! 🙂
