Design Tale #3 “Coral”

Hola people!

And a new design tale 🙂

Yes, it’s the coral top which you have already seen on the blog.

I found this fabric during my so called fabric-hunts at home (Yes! I, usually, either steal fabrics from my mother or father ;)).

This was a piece which my father really liked because of the quality and the color. I literally fought with him to finally getting this to design <not fighting, really> 😀

I always have a soft corner for plain fabrics; love playing with the fact that even using the same fabric you can actually make different kinds of patterns.

I did the same here; had this idea of a crushed rose, at the centre of the neckline extending itself over the rest of the part of the top.

It took me some good time to make that crushed rose. Ah! Finally it was done. 😀
