Flapper-ing with Hidesign!

Hey everyone!

I’m back with yet another outfit post while fighting with my end-term project submission deadlines and classes! *Sigh*

It is no surprise that bags have always been my favourite part of the outfit.

No matter wherever I go be it parties, events or even shopping, I never go out without a bag.

As much as it caters to your usability objective, style quotient is also entertained (these days, I guess it’s the other way around :P)

But yes, there’s a lot of stuff to carry – wallet, a notepad, pen, vanity kit (optional), water bottle (Oh, a must!) etc etc.

When it came to pick one from Hidesign’s latest (Re)launch the Icon collection, I surely had to look for the one which served my usability purpose well; how can one even question Hidesign’s style quotient! 😉

The best fit for me was Grazia ; its size is neither too big nor too small.

The inspiration behind this bag was the flapper girl and it caters to be the perfect accessory for an independent and stylish woman (as quoted by Hidesign).

Hidesign have recently put up an exhibition (till December 3, 2014 at Select City Walk, Delhi) of all the bags from their Icon collection.

Here’s the glimpse of the exhibition. They have not only shown the bags but there’s a coffee-table book which recites the Icon story beautifully!

Now to my outfit; as the theme goes, I chose to style it with the same spirit of independence.

It’s the side of women which has turned the tide during last few years and will continue to do!

I have mixed the theme with corporate formals (Well, plain formals are too boring)

Opted for a black-grey pair of trousers with a netted off white shirt with golden detailing; matching shoes with bag and light golden + off-white pendant set.

Also, I tied my printed satin stole on the bag for the play 😀

Completed the look with all white nails and mirror glasses!

Lastly, thank you Tarun for capturing me 😀

So let me know how’d you like it. Tweet, Instagram or share your views on Facebook 🙂
